The commercial market is changing from isolated security equipment toward integrated inspection lanes capable of screening vehicles without turning borders, ports and critical infrastructure into traffic bottlenecks.

The highest-value systems now combine multiple functions.

A vehicle can be identified through license-plate recognition.

Why 2026 Is a Procurement Inflection Point

Vehicle-inspection demand has historically been associated with security threats in general.

That explanation is now too broad.

The real 2026 catalyst is large-scale procurement designed to increase the percentage of vehicles screened without slowing legitimate trade.

U.S. CBP illustrates the scale.
